We needed to put the fish. We had caught on ice. We were done fishing. I noticed Jose had Mescal to drink, while Dad and I both had cokes. The cokes were sweeter than we have here. On the way out of town I stopped and bought Jose a bottle of Mescal. So now we had to wait for Jose to show up.

We got our customary coffee can full, and thanked everyone there. Straight down till it hit bottom, then yo-yo'd it a few times and started a fast retrieve. Wham! I got clobbered, and this one really pulled hard! It took me about thirty minutes to land this fish. About three pounds. I caught several more trigger fish.
