Thursday, July 31, 2008. My friend Zuzana is competing in this year's Olympics. She is a marathoner and will be representing her home country, Slovakia. She is only the 2nd woman in Slovakia to have run the marathon in less than 2:40. Yes, that's 26.2 miles in 2 hours and 40 minutes. What that boils down to is that Zuz runs marathons in the same time I run a half marathon. Run, Zuzana, Run! I know more than you think I know. Well-done work is easier and faster to grade than poorly done work. It takes me much longer and costs much more mental pain to grade a bad paper or test than a good paper or test. Why don't you make it better for both of us by just doing good work? Sunday, June 10, 2012. It has taken WAY too long but I am finally updating my blog. I prefer to blame it on the last few crazy months. I am just starting to feel like I can breathe again, yay for summer break! These are February's photos, expect more (the catch up) coming in the next week or two (If anyone actually reads this anymore). We went to a park since February was unseasonably warm.
