Truck-Cat Finished (for now) | GreyTech Heavy Industries
https://greytechheavyindustries.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/truck-cat-finished-for-now
Truck-Cat Finished (for now). Tags: Kyosho Blizzard EV. You can spend forever adding details to a model, and I will be detailing this one, as the opportunities present themselves. But for now, it’s finished. This, of course, means that I took too many pictures. All outdoor shots! It was nearing dusk, when I took these pictures, but there was still enough light to make the truck’s lights pretty much pointless. Still, I turned them on, for the pictures. Response to “Truck-Cat Finished (for now)”.

BugSkirt's Workshop
http://bugskirtsworkshop.blogspot.com/2014/04/here-are-couple-of-trooper-wips.html
A blog about 1/18 scale action figure customization. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Here are a couple of trooper WIPs. I added articulated Joe wrists to make the Scout Sniper from Star Wars Battlefront. If you remember, Hasbro took some short cuts when they originally released this figure. The rifle was simply glued into the figures hands. Now, this Scout can actually snipe. Aren't you a little tall for a Snowtrooper? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I work in higher education but I play in 1/18.

BugSkirt's Workshop: April 2014
http://bugskirtsworkshop.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
A blog about 1/18 scale action figure customization. Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Here are some WIP shots of the Snowtrooper that I am working on (or not working on as of late). I am reluctant to take it apart in an attempt to address the height issues. He might just have to stay giant among Snowtroopers. He is the guy who is always banging into bulkheads and door frames. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Here are a couple of trooper WIPs. Aren't you a little tall for a Snowtrooper? If you haven't heard already, Marau...

StarWarsGeek's Geeky Star Wars blog: October 2010
http://starwarsgeeky.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 28, 2010. You know that saying "If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all"? That seems to be my motto for this semester at school. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Born in the 60's (hey, there were 8 days left) I was prime age when Star Wars hit the big screen - 7. Instantly falling in love with the movie, then the toys, then the rest. and from that day forward, I was hooked. Now in my 30's (for another year or two) I've never lost my love, or my enthusiasm for the films...Just post...

The One Day Flood | GreyTech Heavy Industries
https://greytechheavyindustries.wordpress.com/2015/06/15/the-one-day-flood
The One Day Flood. What am I doing? The front corner of the yard. The road didn’t get impassable, this time. It has, in the past. There were streams of water running down the street. It was also flowing down the side yard, at a pretty good rate. Where was it coming from? There was no water back there, before that one rain storm that did all this. The RC truck trail from the last post. The ground was nowhere near saturated, when the rain hit, so the water subsided pretty fast. As of Sunday evening, th...

Greetings, from the Swamp. Tags: Kyosho Blizzard EV. What am I doing? So, that post I made, about all that water coming down in such a short period time? Apparently, there’s a price to paid, for finding fascination in such things. Not so much. (not made to go in the water, I mean. I loved that stupid tank.) I did try to keep the tank out of anything deep enough to touch the hull. Incom's Customs Center. Blog at WordPress.com.

The Truck-Cat Lives | GreyTech Heavy Industries

Tags: Kyosho Blizzard EV. What am I doing? I did a little faux pinstriping in a few spots with Vallejo “Sky Blue.” Another brand of paint, I’m not fond of using. The stuff is beautifully opaque, levels nicely, and will go down dead flat. (A plus, if you want a matte finish) Other flat paints I’ve used tend to go on with a sheen, when brush painted. Why don’t like the Vallejo? When I painted the Parma body, I cut one of those ridiculous parental advisory stickers off of some CD’s packaging, and tape...
