http://fg-artdevivre.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 15, 2015. As i look outside my window, the landscape is defined by tones of whites and greys. Our skis and boots officially went to the warehouse yesterday, spring cleaning lists to be prepared…endless with roof to be repaired, leaks to be fixed, house to be repainted, indoor walls to be repainted, electrical to be fixed…did i mention the plumbing? I don't even want to think about the garden work to be attended to once the snow melts away. The love for an old charming house! I am about to l...

http://fg-artdevivre.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 24, 2014. Christmas Cove, South Bristol,Maine. I needed to recharge as we say… the batteries… Could not think of a more beautiful place than my husband's family magnificent spot on the coast of Maine. This is no near as far as Roque Island, our beloved Island way up North in Maine. Recipe for my "get in shape" in 5 days program:. Be present in the moment, absorb you surroundings, breath in the fresh scented air, feel the ocean,. A kitchen with a view. Part two of the "perfect healthy day":.

cool, couture and everything in between: Manly Monday
http://coolcoutureandeverythinginbetween.blogspot.com/2011/08/manly-monday.html
Cool, couture and everything in between. Nothing says masculine decor like a set of antlers, leather upholstery and over-sized British furniture/decor. A simple color palette concentrating more on texture and traditional elements such as the nail head trimming on the leather upholstered headboard and brass finished light fixtures resembling Greek columns give this bedroom a sophisticated masculine touch. Here are my suggestions for a manly decor:. Pillows and plaid throw via Pendleton. Tufted sofa via Ra...

cool, couture and everything in between: August 2011
http://coolcoutureandeverythinginbetween.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Cool, couture and everything in between. Modern, meet Traditional. Seems every where I look, design blogs and magazines are bombarded with wedding features. I figured I'd do my own twist on the topic: marrying traditional with modern. A common issue that always comes up at my internship is the difference in taste between married clients. One always loves modern design while the other opts for traditional. How do you marry the two aesthetics together in a cohesive manner? Links to this post. A simple colo...

Francine Gardner - Art de Vivre: Mountain Style
http://fg-artdevivre.blogspot.com/2015/02/mountain-style.html
Sunday, February 15, 2015. View from my bedroom. I truly apologize for my lack of blogging and missing out on our last"By invitation only" posting. Having a free moment this morning, I will try and catch up on my fellow bloggers' post. I was snowbound in the French Pyrennees where my parents spend the winters. Hurling winds and record snow made skiing very challenging, but I loved it all the same. My village and ski resort in the French Pyrenees:Saint -Lary. A place to forget about the world. Oh my, take...

Francine Gardner - Art de Vivre: April 2014
http://fg-artdevivre.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2014. Design on a Dime benefit. Last week was a whirlwind, between business, design work and installing our Design on a dime booth, my head was literally in the clouds. As a result, i lost, glasses, camera, one of my projects' floorplans (which we had to redo). To add to the list, the day following the event, we started a HUGE sale at Interieurs. As soon at the red cords were pulled, the shopping frenzee started. I was stunned, within less than half an hour our entire booth was sold!
