This is a modified recipe that came from a Betty Crocker cookbook. 6 to 7 cups of flour. 3 tablespoons of sugar. 1 tablespoon of salt. 2 table spoons of shortening. 2 packages dry active yeast. 2 1/4 cups milk (the recipe says to use water, but milk makes a much softer bread).
