A few weekends ago we had our Tour of the East Bay Alps. and as pleasant as this sounds it is quite the opposite. With the bike ride being 96 miles and having 8300 ft of climbing it was quite the day. I want to share thoughts on my weekend and how my personality morphed into each of the seven dwarfs:. The main highlight of the season is that our Ironteam has almost raised 200k dollars to fund research and support the families effected by blood cancers.

If you don't know, a brick is where you go on a bike ride, then get off and immediately go for a run. They call it a brick because your legs feel like they are attached to bricks when you go to run. Monday, January 31, 2011. Almost made it through January without getting sick . It started Friday night and continued over into Saturday which means I did not run 9 miles like I was supposed to. After some good stretching and much-needed downtime last Friday night, I was in bed by 10 pm to rest up for a 5:00 am wake-up call and carpool with teammate, Nick, to Yountville. 3rd and Final Century Ride:.
