Photography Musings by Dave. Learning to See the World Around me and Sharing It with Others. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Cold, Dry Spell Results in a Little Creativity. This slump has nothing to do with losing the passion for photography because that is as strong as ever. The problem has been "what" to shoot since my desire to be out in the winter weather has been nil. But would Mindy like it? Is it at all what she wants to post on her blog. Sometimes what she likes and what I like are pretty different and...

Photography Musings by Dave. Learning to See the World Around me and Sharing It with Others. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. We've had some storms blow thru this week and I was fortunate to be able get a shot of this formation as it approached. I used Spot Metering on the brightest part so as to not blow the highlights. Amid Life-A Journey: Life goes on....but not like before.
http://amidlife-ajourney.blogspot.com/2012/11/life-goes-onbut-not-like-before.html
One woman's journaling through breast cancer and life thereafter. Friday, November 2, 2012. Life goes on.but not like before. There isn't much you can do to release that area. I am very thankful to be off that drug! I am not exaggerating. I could barely stand up straight and hobbled and shuffled like. yep, an 80 year old woman. I am way too young to feel this old. Then there is the weight. Within less than two weeks of starting this new drug, I put on 8 pounds! November 2, 2012 at 7:23 AM. Sorry about al...

Amid Life-A Journey: February 2013

One woman's journaling through breast cancer and life thereafter. Sunday, February 3, 2013. I too am sitting in front of the tube, albeit waiting for the commercials, and although it's just me and my honey quietly sharing TV time at opposite ends of the couch, I could care less which team wins. Amid Life-A Journey: Today is My Favorite Day
http://amidlife-ajourney.blogspot.com/2013/01/today-is-my-favorite-day.html
One woman's journaling through breast cancer and life thereafter. Sunday, January 13, 2013. Today is My Favorite Day. Today is my favorite day. You may ask why and my answer is simple. This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Ps 118:24. At times we go through a long dark tunnel, and while there Satan will take full advantage of our situation and taunt us that God has forgotten us. " In my alarm I said, "I am cut off from your sight! We cannot look at what is presented to ...
