Flowers, Underpants, and Flying Saucers! Monday, 16 May 2011. 30th Birthday Violet and Cream Cupcakes. It was my sisters 30th birthday yesterday, so rather than buy a cake I decided to make her a batch of flower cupcakes. These were vanilla sponges which were decorated with large cream and violet buttercream swirls (using my trusty old M1 nozzle! We continued toward Seattle where we would spend the night then fly to Pennsylvania in the morning. About 10 miles out of town we had our first mechanical issue with the truck. I was driving when the truck pulled hard to the right, really hard! I love flying in these tiny planes! Look at the views! These gardens were beautiful with enough flowers for a few weddings!
