The Sound my Guitar Makes. Wednesday, November 21, 2007. I don't know what I will write on, but I'm sure that I will think of a topic right before it's due. Chemistry in food products (Very broad.). Chemistry in creating new medicines. Use of Chemistry in making every day things. So maybe rather, I should focus on nano-technology. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scitizen - Nano good / bad stuff. OH-NO!: February 2008
http://molecularsolution.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Hydroxide nitrous monoxide isn’t possible! Tuesday, February 12, 2008. The first blog I visited was Amanda’s. She explained the complex lactic acid process that occurs when we exert our muscles. I was really surprised that hydrogen ions are essential to the process, and when they leave, our muscles become acidic. They start hurting because of this acidity, but are not the cause of soreness the day after a difficult workout. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scientific explanation of Bt. View my complete profile.

Hunter Gatherer: Reflective paragraph
http://huntergatherer08.blogspot.com/2007/12/reflective-paragraph.html
Sunday, December 2, 2007. Thanks, Hunter. You did a nice job collecting research and narrowing your topic. Soon, we will investigate the quality of the articles by exploring the links and the sponsors/authors. I though you'd be interested to look a bit further into one of your links : the one entitled "importance of amino acids". Why don't you investigate the "Home" link and other links to the left? What do you think about the validity and quality of this information? Very Interesting, eh?

Chickabownow : What I learned...
http://chickabownow.blogspot.com/2008/02/what-i-learned.html
The Sound my Guitar Makes. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. The final blog I visited was Rick's which was on combustion engines. It was very interesting reading about the process of how a combustion engine works and powers a car, which is called the Otto cycle. What I thought was very interesting was that ethanol, which is often mixed with gasoline, produces a more efficient and cleaner reaction. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Mrs V, I know my blog is posted late- I've been sick for the last week, sorry! First, I read Julia's blog about "going green". Taking AP Environmental Science this year, I have paid more attention to the movement towards becoming more environmentally friendly. I'm really glad to know that many companies and industries are making that switch to making less wastes that are harmful to our environment (especially Hercules because I live 3.5 seconds away from there! And finally I r...

The Sound my Guitar Makes. Friday, December 7, 2007. Things that lead you to believe that an article is legitimate is most important, checking other sources, but also checking on the original source to see if it cites other sources in order to back up what it says. Does so, and is in fact a very good source for information, contrary to what professionals in academia may say. One must know to cross reference what he reads on Wikipedia. Sunday, December 2, 2007. Hydroxide nitrous monoxide isn’t possible! Tuesday, December 18, 2007. And Mrs. V., i commented on Julia, Jen, and Laura's blogs. Thursday, December 6, 2007. Which is such a good book.) This may still be a bit of a broad topic, but I don't want to limit myself too much and have a difficult time finding interesting information. While there is bound to be false information on the internet, I doubt anyone will revert to using purely textbooks for research. And if you find false information, part of the ...

OH-NO!: Preservatives
http://molecularsolution.blogspot.com/2007/12/preservatives.html
Hydroxide nitrous monoxide isn’t possible! Sunday, December 2, 2007. Does diet soda make you a thinner person, or does it rot you bones (like one of my friends says). In my opinion, water is never a bad choice, and if you are really concerned about your bones rotting away then drink more milk or take some calcium supplements. So preservatives aren't so bad after all. It's the pesticides that are bad. Tsk tsk tsk. December 3, 2007 at 12:11 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pesticides and the Bt gene.
