Sunday, January 23, 2005. Jacob only shows up in two records, his baptism and his confirmation, both in Westmoreland County. However, there is a Jacob Sheffler in later censuses, living back in Northampton County. This is interesting for two reasons. First, most of George Sheffler's Lutheran Community contemporaries come from Northampton County in the late 1700's. In my records - as 12 Sept 1826. However, in the 1900 census Jacob shows a birth month of January 1927.
