http://northmontanaline.blogspot.com/2009_10_20_archive.html
Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Layout Construction - October 12, 2009. Now that all of the benchwork is secure and the pink foam is glued down, it was time to concentrate on the bridge/tunnel area. I added the supports for the bottom of the creek and top of the tunnel. A view through the east tunnel entrance. The pegboard masonite will be covered and not visible after the scenery is put in. At this point the cork roadbed has glued down, but the track has not been set. I Can See the Light. Links to this post.

http://northmontanaline.blogspot.com/2014/08/layout-update-29.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Layout Update - #29. Http:/ nickelwiki.pbworks.com/w/page/13276519/Modeling%20NKP%20Stock%20Cars. I have been working on building up the stock car fleet for the layout. There is not much offered in the way of prototypical versions of Milwaukee Road stock cars. The best versions available in kit form are the Westerfield Models. I was lucky enough to find someone who was selling a set of three Accurail Milwaukee Road stock cars including renumbering decals on the old Yahoo HO yard...

The Model Railroader's Notebook: April 2015
http://modelrailroadersnotebook.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Sketching a Portable On30 Layout. We know that the 10.5" radius, while not optimum in On30, it is usable. Now we need to start designing a layout that will fit in my workshop. My daughter wants me to build a swamp layout again, which would be easy since I have most of the equipment and molds available. Taylor helped me design a very simple layout. While the track plan is quite simple, the scenery effects will be complicated and make it very viewable. Scott G. Perry. The girls mark...

Same as the last entry: I've been building rather than posting. Here's my first On30 car. No, not changing scales, just a branchline. Water and Sand Cars. I've made progress on the railroad over the last year. It's just that I've spent time on it (and other family things) instead of updating the website. I did just update the Black Rock Falls Trestle. Page with at least one more picture to come soon. I've updated the Misc. Section including some pictures of my workstation. The Black Rock Falls Depot.
