He has CT scans every 9 weeks to track his cancer. The first CT scan showed that his main cancer tumor had shrunk 30%. We were amazed at that! JaNece Editor} Jack has continued to do his treatments, and they have actually cut the dosage down by 1/3. His latest CT scan says that the degenerative mass in the left upper lobe (lung) has not. Enlarged. In fact, it appears slightly smaller. WHAT GREAT NEWS! Due to the dosage being cut down, his side effects are not as severe. So, the treatments are still effective and working! JaNece editor} I was talking to my mom the other day and she said that my dad was getting a really bad rash on his face. It hurt to have his glasses on and his face was red. This is one of the side effects of the drug. And do you know something? I was recently reading up on one of the drugs that Jack is on and found this about rashes:. This blog is all about the life and happenings of Jack A. Marshall. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Yet again, a Miracle! I'm not very technical with medical terms, but to summarize . Jack went in on Friday for his CT scan. The results came back on Monday and it seems that the cancer is still not. He hasn't lost any more weight and is feeling pretty good.
