Tuesday, November 4, 2014. First Day of School 2014. Woo Hoo.school has started and mama gets a break! Amelia's in first grade now and Juliet is in preschool twice a week. Juliet just LOVES school and has not cried once at drop off. She knows almost all the kids in her class from last year and has some really great teachers. Wednesday, January 15, 2014. We had a fun and busy December this year! We went to Galveston for the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens, did some Christmas caroling in the neighborhood and had family visit us! Ed's company has an annual Family Day and this year it was at Moody Gardens. We spent 2 days there (so impressed with the hotel that we're planning another trip before long! Tuesday, November 11, 2014. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JULIET! Juliet turned 3 and is STILL as sweet as can be. She loves all things girly - baby dollies, hair bows and dresses. Oh my goodness, the girl MUST wear a dress every day (at night it's a nightgown! She's been asking to start ballet lessons and now that she's 3 (and I don't have to do a mommy and me class), she can start! She is SO SO SO excited about this! She loves to sing! Sunday, June 2, 2013. Friday was Amelia's last day of her Pre-K program at Primrose! She'll do various camps through the summer then she's off to Kindergarten at the end of August. Saturday was the big graduation - complete with caps and gowns and a program of songs. Sisters posing in front of the roses before we left the house. With her sweet friend Kendall. With Nina. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Juliet 18 Months Old. I can't call her a baby anymore, can I? Juliet is now 18 months old and is such a fun little kid now! She's just so happy and still has the sunniest disposition ever. At her last checkup, everything looked great. She's in the 65th percentile for height and only 45th for weight. All that eating and she's skinny - where does it go? Bus (usually with lots of exclamation points - buses are really exiting! Dog (always with a bark afterwards). She loves to eat!

Sunday, March 24, 2013. Not the Happiest Baby. I always say that Juliet is the happiest baby with no complaints, and every day is the best day ever. Well, apparently I was wrong! Some of my best friends came to spend a weekend with us a few weeks ago, including Kristy and 10mo old Avery. Avery was THE HAPPIEST BABY on the whole planet! Juliet was not impressed and was grumpy the whole weekend. We maybe got 3 smiles out of her. She didn't want Avery anywhere near her toys or even me! Even with a cute hair...

Monday, February 25, 2013. Yesterday I lost a crown off my molar during lunch. I was able to save it before swallowing it (ICK! But then ran crying to Ed like a child, saying OhMyGod OhMyGod OhMyGod, while feeling all sorts of pain, then some anger at the dentist. Teeth just gross me out to no end.shudder. Anyway, Amelia comes over to give me a hug and says "Don't be upset, Mommy. This means the Tooth Fairy is coming! She was so sweet and SO. How does she get in the house? Are they coins or paper money?

Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Happy 6th Birthday to Amelia! The morning of her party, she came downstairs and declared that she was ready to get her ears pierced and we needed to go NOW to get it done (before she changed her mind! Most of her friends now have their ears pierced but she kept saying she was scared and wanted to wait until she was 7 or 8 years old. I told her she didn't EVER have to pierce her ears and it would always be her choice. Now suddenly August 2nd was the day! Here's a one-handed hand...
