Sunday, September 09, 2007. Why can't I sleep past 3:30 am lately? This past week there I am, wide awake staring at the ceiling at 3:30. Why? I guess I have a bunc of stuff on my mind. I can't think of any other explanation unless it's that arched window in our bedroom! It's the only thing about our new house that I don't love. If I had the choice, it wouldn't be there. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Emerging from the caos. This holiday season was a flurry of activity for us! We saw the movie, Bedtime Stories. Yesterday. I quite enjoyed it. If you have kids, I would highly recommend going. Funny and entertaining. I wasn't expecting much with Adam Sandler but was very pleasantly surprised. Wednesday, October 15, 2008. I had fun working with the Heidi Swapp World Traveler line for this month's DT kit at the Scrapping Nook. All of the stuff on the layouts can be purchased in their online store. With the exception of the Fancy Pants felt (they are sold out) and the very old Rusty Pickle chipboard numbers from my stash. We had to make a layout inspired by an ad that was provided to us. There were two and I chose this one. I was drawn to the curved lines. Sunday, January 18, 2009. I love the new Winter CHA release Gel-a-tins. I have hundreds of ideas swirling in my head with not nearly enough time in the day to make them all come to life. Here is my first layout with two of the new releases, "Flower Power" and "Butterflies are Free". It takes a while to complete all the steps but I think the end result is well worth the work!
