It was quite surreal and joyous at first after having been away for 16 months. It was so nice catching up with family and friends, reacquainting myself with my country and culture and … earning a wage again! After traveling for a total of thirteen hours (plus a two hour layover), I arrived at Dulles Airport on December 10th. It was about 10:20pm Czech time, so needless to say, I was tired.
