Brand & Bound: September 2006

An elite hunter.a warrior's daughter. Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Most intriguing to me is the flaming of the brand. Despite my attempts to chart its coming and going, I have found no sound pattern. They are as illogical and officious as it is painful. Mayhap someday, the purpose will make itself known. There must be a purpose. . . Posted by Marco Dusan at 5:01 PM. View my complete profile. A sample of my life.

Blog of author L. S. King. Saturday, August 27, 2005. You know you've played Myst too long when. You are walking through the mall and see a valve on the wall, and have to stop yourself from going over and turning it just to see what might happen. Posted by L. S. King @ 7:03 PM. Thursday, August 25, 2005. I'm beginning to think my books aren't publishable. I've tried to make the first book more plot-driven because that's what SF publishers require. Posted by L. S. King @ 3:46 PM. Wednesday, August 24, 2005.

http://loriendil.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Blog of author L. S. King. Sunday, October 30, 2005. From the 'now I've seen everything' category. Posted by L. S. King @ 1:36 PM. Monday, October 24, 2005. Sometimes I wonder about people. Recently I had the experience of finding out folks are not honest to my face, through what their kids said to my daughter. Two persons, one I consider a friend, and another a friendly acquaintance, don't think that either I homeschool my daughter correctly or else think homeschooling isn't a valid option. I think I'm ...

Blog of author L. S. King. Thursday, September 29, 2005. What sadist at Cyan has a thing for heights? I'm clinging to a wall, scared to move. This is worse than walking that blasted pipe in Kadesh Tolesa. The view is beautiful though. Posted by L. S. King @ 10:36 PM. Friday, September 23, 2005. Arrived yesterday. I couldn't start it last night or today - had to work. Waaah! Perhaps tonight - I hope so. It's burning a hole in me, gazing at me, begging me, taunting me. Posted by L. S. King @ 3:00 PM. Yeah ...

Loriendil's Reveries: May 2005
http://loriendil.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Blog of author L. S. King. Sunday, May 29, 2005. I sold a short story to Deep Magic this week. I was so excited about it but at the same time I felt weighed down. I had found a major plot blunder in the first book of my SF series and had to cut the last 43,000 words or so and write them all over again. I salvaged some scenes but had to write some of it from scratch. That project has loomed over me for a couple of weeks now, but tonight I finished it! Posted by L. S. King @ 12:58 AM.
