So we left our AMAAAAZING hostel this morning and made our way to Shangri-la! I want to talk about our hostel in Shu He for a little bit, because it really was a home away from home. The Nomad Guesthouse was opened by a Dutch guy and a Taiwanese girl who met travelling and decided to open a hostel together! They make amazing healthy vegetarian food and took really good care of us!

Today we visited one of the most important Tibetan monasteries in southwest China! Its called Songtsam Monastery and it’s a 300 year old Tibetan monastery complex with about 600 monks.
