The Lescarbeau Family: March 2015
http://aflescarb.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The best big sister. Saturday, March 28, 2015. We went bowling together as a family. We waited until it was time for Eric to get off work so he could join us for a little family fun. The girls had lots of fun bowling. Savannah is following in the Lescarbeau competitive footprints. She didn't like the idea of not being able to do as well as everyone else. Monday, November 24, 2014. For Veteran's Day we decided to go to Darmstadt. Only about 1/2 hour from where we live, Darmstadt was the capital of Hesse, which was an independent country until the formation of the German Empire in 1871. Side note, I recently read this. Article, and it mentions President Uchtdorf and his family lived in Darmstadt when the Berlin wall came down :). Here are some of the things we've seen so far. Wilhelminenplatz, with the Church of St. Ludwig in the background. We also notice...

5 Years and Counting. Yesterday, we celebrated our 5th Anniversary. We both sat back, in awe that it has really been 5 years. It's been a heck of a ride, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Due to our crazy schedules, we couldn't plan anything to big, so we decided to just spend the day together. He surprised me with BYU football tickets and a t-shirt to go with! BYU crushed Hawaii (47-0)! Since the game was on Friday, we still had all day Saturday (our actual anniversary) - so we had a full day plann...

Our House: February 2015
http://liddell6.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 2, 2015. I propose that there are actually 5 seasons - Spring, Summer, Fall, Christmas Winter, and Ugly Winter. I seriously get excited for Christmas Winter every year, and I especially love a White Christmas. It's beautiful, it's festive, it's magical. Usually the temperature isn't too terrible, and you can actually enjoy the outdoors. Sledding and building snowmen, then drinking Hot Cocoa to warm up. It's a Winter Wonderland. Sunday, February 1, 2015. Joe and I had the opportunity to t...

http://aflescarb.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
The best big sister. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. I do love watching my girls get excited about all of the little things they are able to do for him. I love how excited they are to give him hugs and kisses, extra snuggles in bed, and making him breakfast. This year for Primary they had the girls fill our fun facts about their dad. My dad's favorite thing to do is play with me and my sister. I love it when my dad comes home. My dad's favorite food is an omelette. 4 What is your favori...

The best big sister. Saturday, May 24, 2014. It was a little crazy after Emily graduated. Her mom was leaving the next day and she had a lot of graduation parties to go to. We finally were able to celebrate with her the Saturday after graduation. Mostly it was about spending the day as a family. By Doctor Sues. Then I wrote a little note about the different things she would need and and use when she moved away. She opened the gifts in order. 1 2014 Sticker. The day is here you did it, we are so excited.

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Over Memorial Day weekend, Joe and I wanted to go explore Heidelberg. Our kids did not want to go walk around another boring town, looking at churches and castle ruins. What? Whatever, we went with out them. Who needs dumb kids anyway? Mark Twain wrote about Heidelberg castle, specifically the split turret (pictures below) in. Second is the Heidelberg Tun, the world's largest wine barrel. It was built in 1751 to hold all the wine that was paid as taxes from the local wine gro...

6 years and counting. Today we celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary! It's been a wild, crazy ride the last 6 years, but having this guy around has made the trip all that much more fun! We've had our fair share of adventures and there's no slowing down or turning back now! It's true what they say, you really do fall more in love with each passing year with your best friend and forever companion. I feel pretty darn lucky that this guy chose me.
