The trail today took us through some really cool farmers fields; it was a nice change of pace, but hiking through an open field during the middle of the day is tough due to the heat and sun. Gosh, I can’t believe I am so close to the end. It all has gone by so vey fast. But the PCT being the PCT we have been thrown a curve ball, a fire detour. The wolverine/blankenshi fire has closed 13 miles of the trail. Yea, no more duct taped tent poles, that was ridiculous (even though I am the queen of makin do).
