The Wissinks: "He just looks PERFECT!"
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2010/06/he-just-looks-perfect.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He just looks PERFECT! The doctor said this to us multiple times at our appointment today, and of course, we wholeheartedly agree! We survived the 4 month check-up and shots! Jeremiah actually did awesome- he recovered from the 3 shots very quickly. He was not too keen on the oral rotavirus vaccine this time (he made some pretty funny faces! But he did finally chug it all down. Mommy also handled the shots better this time- no crying! Plus, Adam got his fir...

The Wissinks: January 2015
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Thursday, January 8, 2015. Hope has been 2 months for like 3 weeks now, so I figured I better get a post done before she gets to be 3 months old. The time is going by too fast! I know I've said that before, and will no doubt say it again. But time needs to slow down! Hope is most definitely losing her newborn-ness, which is sad. However, her ever growing chubby cheeks and other chunky rolls do somewhat make up for that. Oh, and her coos and jabbering, too. So sweet! The doctor was...

The Wissinks: December 2014
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Saturday, December 27, 2014. It's so hard to believe that Christmas is over and tomorrow begins a New Year! When I think back on 2014, I think it was probably the busiest, craziest, most exciting, most stressful, longest, AND shortest year of our lives (if that even makes sense! What an incredible year full of blessings! We are truly thankful! But Before this turns into a "reflection on 2014" post, let's revisit Christmas! We did our own family Christmas the Saturday before, and o...

The Wissinks: Great Reports!
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2015/03/great-reports.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Thursday, March 5, 2015. I don't want to say the standard, "I can't believe Hope is 4 months old already! But really. I can't. How has she been here with us for 4 months already? Time is moving too fast (I'm going to say that every single time I do an update. Seriously. Sorry.). H at 4 months old! J at 4 months! They are definitely siblings! Aren't Adam's kids adorable? We got a great report from the doctor today at Hope's 4 month well-check! The doctor was quite impressed that Ho...

The Wissinks: Spring!!
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2015/04/spring.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Monday, April 13, 2015. I think it's here, people! Yeah yeah yeah, you may think I just jinxed it and "Michigan weather" blah blah blah. But. A week full of 60 degree temps and green grass outside tells me there is hope! I'm hoping the trees will follow suit here soon. And I know those tulips have to be up by the first week of May here for Tulip Time! This day it hit 70! It was a tough decision. Matchbox cars? He is so proud! Hope has been working on sitting up! On Saturday we dro...

The Wissinks: April 2015
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Friday, April 17, 2015. One week ago we were living it up in the Hawkeye State! We had such a nice visit back "home" (yes, Iowa still feels more like home than Michigan does.) We got to see so many great friends, ate at some of our favorite places, and were reminded just how much we miss that place! And Hope was thoroughly loved on by many people who have been dying to meet her! I love these people! We had such a great time! Oh the chips and queso- so good! I can't even say how gr...

The Wissinks: August 2014
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Sunday, August 17, 2014. Yes, it is definitely strange. But yet, since school has not started here in MI yet, it just feels like I get to have an extra long summer this year! Like a REEEAAALLLLY extra long summer. Maybe once the weather cools down it will hit me that I'm not going back to school this year? One year ago, I would NOT have ever thought we'd be where we are today. Just goes to show that our plans are not necessarily God's plans! Sorting all his cars by color! What an ...

The Wissinks: September 2014
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. So apparently I have become a once-a-month (maybe) blogger. I even have more time on my hands now and still don't seem to get to it very often! I have no good excuse. And I make no promises to be better about it, sorry. The eternal summer eventually did come to an end! We finished up the summer with some fun activities:. One day J and I ventured to Grand Rapids to check out Frederik Meijer Gardens. We had been there once before (last summer, I think?

The Wissinks: Jeremiah is 5!
http://arwissink.blogspot.com/2015/02/jeremiah-is-5.html
Our Life in The Mitten. Saturday, February 21, 2015. Hard to believe we have a certified BIG KID in our house now! Jeremiah turned 5 on February 18th! Let's take a little trip down memory lane, shall we? 5 years ago we brought this precious baby boy home from Mercy hospital. My heart just squeezes when I look at his sweet little face! It's funny because we thought HE had a lot of hair at birth! He has nothing compared to Hope! J at 3 months. Enough with the kisses, Mommy! Oh the cheeks on both of them!
