JoeZone: May 2010

http://joepeebles.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Flying to the beat of a different wing. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Any day now, our little boy will make his way into the world and turn it upside down for us. From what I've heard. And I don't have any reason to doubt those who tell me I have no idea how different, how new my life will be once the baby makes that big transition from fairly low-maintenance to ultra high-maintenance. Indeed, it's already starting to become that different. What a wonderful woman. That much at least will never change. Aforement...

JoeZone: March 2010

http://joepeebles.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Flying to the beat of a different wing. Friday, March 26, 2010. The big push before the big push. He's also always gone to great lengths to engage me spiritually, and teach me the importance of knowing the Lord and making that central to everything that I do. Is Kathryn's and my first child having the same impact on me? Does God laugh at us the same way we laugh at children? Since I'm pretty much always laughing at them, I think I'm a more likely candidate than some to be a source of heavenly amusement.

JoeZone: January 2011

Flying to the beat of a different wing. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Book Review: Under the Overpass. So a few weeks ago, Kathryn and I signed up with Blogging for Books. By Waterbrook Multnomah. Essentially, they send us free books so we can read and post reviews on them. My first book to review is Under the Overpass. By Mike Yankoski. (Check it out on Waterbrook's site here. The book is a compelling read, though it starts out a bit slow. I found myself a bit confused at the beginning, and finding it ...

JoeZone: January 2010

Flying to the beat of a different wing. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Quick stats for ya. I'll leave it to Kathryn to give you the exciting updates. On our near-finished marathon bathroom remodel. I, on the other hand, will provide you with some exceptionally illuminating statistics:. 17 - the number of months we've been in our work-in-progress house. 17 - the number of months it's taken me to figure out that caulking is my absolute least favorite thing ever when it comes to working on a house. 6 days lat...

Calves from the Stall. Football Season is Upon Us. The Faith Required →. October 26, 2009 · 9:00 am. Ok, so I’m not dead. I haven’t blogged in quite a while. It isn’t that I don’t like this blog anymore, it’s just that life as of late hasn’t been full of things to write about. Not that I’ve just been sitting on my butt doing nothing, rather the opposite has been true, I’ve been going and haven’t really stopped to write much of anything. 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son. Weighting Patiently: August 2008

http://imweightingpatiently.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 19, 2008. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Jared and I watched, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Tonight. You need to see this movie. I've never blogged about a movie before, and the three of you that read this blog can attest to that. But trust me here, I don't say this lightly, this movie is worth the time, every time. Posted by Andrew Kilzer. Monday, August 18, 2008. I worked as a carney. Until he pulled out his folder full of Watchtower. Pamphlets. Quickly he asked me somethin...

Weighting Patiently: September 2008

http://imweightingpatiently.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 8, 2008. Higher Jesus, Higher! Last week I told you that I was going to try and start eating according to 'The Zone' diet. Well, I had intended on going to the store and gearing up for the first week of being in the zone, but that didn't happen until Sunday morning, so I've not been on the diet for more than 12 hours now, but it feels good so far. The way you eat breaks down like this:. I dropped down to 248.8 pounds this morning. That's significant because last Wednesday I was ...Some ...

Weighting Patiently: Back to Basics

http://imweightingpatiently.blogspot.com/2008/09/back-to-basics.html

Monday, September 1, 2008. I was told this morning that I hadn't blogged about working out/losing weight in quite a while. There's a reason that this is the case, and it's mainly because I was feeling a little narcissistic about always detailing how I'm trying to change myself and look better. It was beginning to feel like one of those crappy reality shows where some 'celebutant' is trying to better herself and expecting us all to enjoy watching/reading about it. Plus the Aggies lost, and that sucks.

Weighting Patiently: May 2008

http://imweightingpatiently.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Maybe it's the Frisbee? As nice as they were though I still felt as though I had been letting people down for the last five months. Brad sensed it as well. He emailed me, we talked, I got pissed and something inside of me really wanted to say, "Screw this! I'm done." They wouldn't let me though. Because they all knew, especially Brad and my roommates, that there was still something inside of me wanting to see this thing to the end. Maybe it's the frisbee? Posted by Andrew Kilzer.

Weighting Patiently: Frustration

http://imweightingpatiently.blogspot.com/2008/10/frustration.html

Monday, October 6, 2008. That's where I am with that. It's been a couple of weeks since I've posted a loss on the scale, and I'm getting discouraged. It seems like once you're in the groove weight comes off so easily, but as soon as you get out of that routine for just a bit, it's a real pain in the butt to get back into it. I'm still going though, and hopefully I'll get back to progress soon enough. Posted by Andrew Kilzer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. By Isnaini Dot Com.

Perhaps I've Shed Too Much: August 2010

http://rosskingworldtour.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 26, 2010. Like the title says, here are some various things. Record from a few years back (which I had the honor of producing), go get it. It is, song for song, one of the top 5 worship CD's I own. No kidding. But that's not what I want to tell you about. Go get this. It's a tune that Todd wrote a few months ago called "Maker of My Days." For some reason that completely escapes me, he decided to record it at some. Second, if you haven't ever heard of these people. That's all for today.
