Kolb Mark III Xtra. This represents a Building Log for my Kolb Mark III Xtra. Monday, November 8, 2010. Mounted Aileron Cable Duct with Adel Clamps. Cut Duct Bend to correct length and deburred. Inboard End of Duct needs to be affixed to Rib Brace probably using Silicone Tape and wide Zip-Ties cushioned with shrink tubing. Hours today : 1.5. Hours forward : 171.75. Hours total : 173.25. Saturday, November 6, 2010. Old upper Drag Strut Gusset removed. Holes inspected and cleaned. Hours today : 3.0.

Kolb Mark III Xtra. This represents a Building Log for my Kolb Mark III Xtra. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Moving back to the House. Today I completed setting up Shop in my Garage at Home. I thought it was a good idea to have the Kit at the Hangar. But that wasn't the case and it got even worse ever since. I bought and started flying my Rutan Varieze. One of my New Year's Resolutions (actually the only one). Was to get the Kolb in the Garage to be able to use the. Here are some Pictures.

Kolb Mark III Xtra. This represents a Building Log for my Kolb Mark III Xtra. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Installed Drag Strut Braces. Hours today : 1.5. Hours forward : 167.25. Hours total : 168.75. Saturday, August 7, 2010. Riveted entire Drag Strut Top and Bottom. Installed lower Half Rib that was removed previously. Cut and shaped upper Drag Strut Gusset. Cut to length and deburred edges and corners. Drilled and deburred holes on upper Drag Strut Gusset. Riveted Gusset in Place (7 Rivets, 1/2" spacing).

Inspected for dents and other damages - OK. Inspected seating of H-Brace in wing spar - OK. Identified and inspected steel parts for left Wing assembly - Travis needs to ship wing bolts for lift strut gusset installation. Hours today : 2.0. Hours forward : 75.25. Hours total : 77.25.
