We woke up groggy from the night before, minutes before a knock on our door brought dozens of brown cardboard decorated “gifts” through our back door. Finally! Our sea shipment arrived! Total we had 11 days off, so we decided to head to Hawaii. We had a great time. Hawaii is a lot more than just a lot of pretty beaches. Nicky grinned from ear to ear, and gave Nik and enthusiastic thumbs up. And I was lucky enough to get a shot of it. This picture is actually Nicky waving to Nik! A little while later, we traded, I took the flag, and Nik took the camera, and before too long, Nicky looked up and saw me holding the flag and smiled and waved at me too! This one was from the Han dynasty. The big hill is a man-made hill and the tomb is inside. This is a similar tomb to the Terra Cotta Warriors in that it is underground and full of statues, but this empire was the “Reign of Peace” so their warriors are smaller and peaceful, and there are Eunichs.
