The Heck Family: November 2011
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 14, 2011. I wonder if Bob has any openings for construction assistants? If so we have two willing and able bodies! Josh (my very kind and patient husband) has listened to me complain about the doorways in our house that weren't trimmed out, so he has taken on the task of doing the trim work himself. He never ceases to amaze me with his jack of all trades skills! I'm so blessed to have such a handy husband who spends his free time completing my never ending list of projects!

http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 6, 2011. Someday My Prince Will Come! Caleb and I no more than got his castle assembled and the princess took her place inside! She had a blast just sitting in there and trying to deconstruct our work! Monday, May 2, 2011. So I'm flipping through a magazine the other day and Caleb peeks over my shoulder and says hey mommy, is that you? It was a picture of Carrie Underwood, so I immediately said why yes Caleb that is me, I only wish! Time to call and make an appointment! Put me in coach!

http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. He was searching all over for us in the crowd but couldn't find us. He had this concerned look for most of the program, but it didn't stop him from performing his songs! Caleb with his teachers Miss Donna and Miss Maureen. Here he is in his groovy outfit. Caleb's first year of preschool is officially over and he is extremely upset about it! It was so cute to see all the kids up there singing songs about God! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Put me in coach! Preparing for Number 4.

We had such a great time and hopefully it will become a new tradition. We only left the cabin once to take the kids to ripleys aquarium and to visit the pool at the bottom of the mountain. The rest of the time we sat around and played with the kids and ate a TON of food. Also dont forget to call kenny loggins…. Cuz your in the DANGER ZONE!

The Heck Family: August 2011
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. Popsicles on the Patio. We enjoyed these icy treats over the weekend and I fear we now have two popsicle addicts! Caleb is obsessed and has asked every day if he can have a popsicle for breakfast. He has tried a different flavor over the past few evenings and has yet to find one that he doesn't like, he's quite the connoisseur! Laundry day quickly turned into laundry basket race day! The kids had so much fun pushing each other around the kitchen island for close to an hour! Prepa...

The Heck Family: Summer Photo Shoot
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/summer-photo-shoot.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2012. I wanted to take pictures of the kids this summer and since I hadn't taken Caleb's 4 year pictures or Sophie's 2 year pictures I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and take pictures of them together! It sounded like a great idea at the time but by the end of the session two birds were not my enemies it was my two children! They were not very cooperative especially Sophia, she refused to look at the camera or smile! He is obviously the one that suffers the most!

The Heck Family: Caleb Quotes
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/calebs-ambition.html
Thursday, July 12, 2012. I always say I have to write down the funny things that the kids say and do or I'll forget all about it. So I wanted to get these little tidbits in writing so I can look back and have a good laugh! This was his conversation with me over breakfast early this week:. Caleb: "Mommy, what do you want me to be when I grow up? Me: "Well, Caleb I want you to be something that makes you happy. Maybe you could also do something that helps other people! Me: "That is a great choice!

The Heck Family: Potty Training-Day 2
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/potty-training-day-2.html
Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Sophia has been doing great over the past week of keeping her diaper dry and telling me when she has to use the potty so I decided to stick close to home this week and really work on ditching the diapers for good. We went to the store to get her some big girl underwear, she picked out Rapunzel and has been wearing them for 2 days without any accidents! I've created a monster though because she gets a treat (mostly twizzlers) when she goes and has now become obsessed.

The Heck Family: Take Me Out to the Ball Game....
http://js-heckfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/take-me-out-to-ball-game.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Caleb played baseball this spring and it is very clear that he loves the sport. He had several games and practices and never complained once and in fact was very upset when he had his last game. He had several people in the stands cheering for him throughout the season and would always give a little thumbs up when he would get on base! So proud of our little "rookie"!
