I went to cottontails yesterday with nicole and her friend (now my friend), brittany. we had a great time! Although, i think cottontails is even more geared toward people with kids than christmas village. the three of us had a blast together. i got a few things for baby jacob! I hope my brother doesn't declare anything i bought "too girly" for him. :). Some of the loot:. For when he arrives. this one isn't exactly the same, but his will be similar. I got him two bibs. And a sweet onesie.

I really need to get with the program. i'm. Averaging less than one post a month. just sad. i guess i just haven't felt like i've. Had much to share. life, these days, feels mostly like i'm. Just going through the motions. each month is a repeat of the month before. so, i haven't felt like there was much that was worth sharing. i will be attempting to update much more frequently. we'll see how that goes. This past weekend was great. we got to spend time with the fam. My mom's 60 th. Happy birthday, momma!

Thursday, July 29, 2010. I laughed at loud when I looked over and Rachel was sitting beside Jacob looking at a Parents magazine! Happy Fourth of July- 3 weeks old. 6 weeks old- big boy. What a difference 6 weeks makes. Jacob has grown so much in 6 weeks. His 2 week appt he was up to 9 lbs 4 oz and his 4 week he weighed 11 lbs!
