He didn't even try to eat the paint brush until the end and that was OK because it was just kool-aid and water! Monday, July 23, 2012. As I have been working closely with Your Sisters Orphanage, I have felt a strong connection to them and an urge to stay involved. Libby Bailey, the director, has asked me to be a board member of the organization! What a privilege it will be to still have my hands here in Africa even after returning home to Utah. I feel so grateful for the chance to continue to serve these beautiful young orphan girls for many years to come. They are my little sisters! Thanks for visiting our blog.

You never know when you might need both hands to fight off the bad guys. Yesterday, a police officer stopped in front of his school to comment on his cool costume. I really appreciate when cops make an extra special effort to make kids feel important. Thor isn't sure what he wants to hold, a shot or his hammer; how about both.

Thursday, June 3, 2010. Mmmmm . . . For Young Women's last night, we had camp certification. I was in charge of treats and I was DYING to try to make some s'more cupcakes, fitting for camp right? Anyway, I took a bunch of different things from a bunch of different recipes and made my own little experiment. These are my "Please Sir, Can I Have S'more" cupcakes. Ü. First I started by mixing graham crackers, brown sugar and melted butter (exact measurements? I always get teased for just throwing stuff in!

Monday, June 6, 2011. Memorial Day 2011 - 5. Our last day, we headed back down to the beach to get a picture of us in front of the ocean. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. I was holding Elle, and Emma said "no, I sit". So, I put Elle on the pillow to hold Emma for a little bit, and as soon as I laid Elle down, she said "no, I lay down".
