But coming from Ghana most definitely plays a part. And there are nice gardens and landscaping. And things don't look as crumbly or yellow/brown as I remember. And it isn't THAT hot (I may be speaking prematurely). In 12 hours time I'll be back at the airport for my South Africa flight and the partial-family reunion! No place like home.

He's helping teach my cousin's 1st grade classroom about geography and other cultures. I was a little bit embarassed taking his picture with strangers, so we went to the compound where I first stayed. I want to take a few more pictures of life in Ghana to show the kids (food, children in the school uniforms), but Stanley won't be in those because he'll have taken. Posted by Jill at 7:49 PM.

Jane began the project, but Olivier could reach just a little bit easier from the chair-on-the-couch (my job was to sturdy that precariousness and hand things up and down).
