King's Child: March 2011
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Whir, whir, spin, spin. Gold is heavy, straw is thin. Turn the wheel with pixie purr; spin, spin, whir, whir! Okay, so NO you will not find me quoting Rumpelstiltskin while I spin; it just came to mind. Projects that I'm spinning right now are two alpaca fleeces, one Babydoll Southdown sheep fleece, 7 lbs. of Dorset sheep wool, and I might be getting some Coopworth sheep wool soon. Monday, March 14, 2011. Through The Ashes Of Pain. There is a l...

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Monday, October 3, 2011. I suppose it's high time I wrote this post. I was talking with my sisters about doing it the other day, and figured I should do it now. This is the official end to 'King's Child'. But please do not come here expecting new posts. This blog is now a dusty archive. You can find Megan's humorous, witty blog at www.patriotspen.blogspot.com. Emily's blog photography blog is: www.lifethroughmylens-emily.blogspot.com. We fairly beamed the whole day!

King's Child: June 2011
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Friday, June 17, 2011. I sheared the alpaca, who's name was Ozzie. I brought his stunningly white fiber home and carded it into fluffy batts. Then I dyed it in varying shades of brown, buff, grey, and gold. I spun the dyed fiber. I plied the singles together. I wound the yarn into a skein, and counted out 90 yards of it. I started at the beginning, and worked my way almost to the end. Now, what shall I do with it? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

King's Child: Through The Ashes Of Pain
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011/03/through-ashes-of-pain.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Monday, March 14, 2011. Through The Ashes Of Pain. There is a little spot in the 98 acres that recently got bulldozed (to make entering the property easier for vehicles). That small spot was now a mess of broken branches, mud, and remnants of a small cherry tree. It looked pretty bad. But despite the wreckage, a small patch of daffodils still came up and bloomed. Even through the ashes of pain, they still bloomed. That thought came to me today, when I looked at them.

Need Is The Mother Of Invention. Or so they say. Yesterday was our big brothers birthday, and one of his gifts was the LOTR, DVD trilogy. Buuuuut, the movies didn't come in a box, and for some reason, we all wanted them to be in a box. So we set out to make one! Below is our finished product. What think ye? In li...

King's Child: September 2010
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Sunday, September 19, 2010. I suppose that's a good thing, seeing as I live in a very rainy state. ;). I was outside a few minutes ago, gathering some plantain and enjoying the wet. While out there, I couldn't help but think back to when we were still boarding horses. A drenched girl upon a drenched horse, moving in sync beneath the falling raindrops. Friday, September 10, 2010. I am only one,. But I am one,. I cannot do everything,. But I can do something. Well, I think...

King's Child: Content...
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011/07/content.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Friday, July 15, 2011. I'm actually doing a post on this seemingly abandoned blog. Through the past couple of months, I have begun seeing changes in life. People I know are courting, or being courted, friends are engaged, my big brother is going to be married next spring, a friend just had her first child. Things are changing and I can't do a thing about it. Amidst all of this change, how do I feel about my state of singleness that I find myself in, at the age of 19?

King's Child: November 2010
http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Diary of three Christian sisters. Monday, November 15, 2010. Today, two years ago. I suppose that it may seem odd that I remember what I was doing today, two years ago. But Nov. 15th will be a day that I will probably remember for a while yet. And what was I doing today, two years ago at this time (6:30 as I type)? I was laying on a hospital bed in the ER, with dirt streaked across my face, as I watched a doctor and a nurse try to pull my broken and dislocated wrist back into place. I know how to dehorn ...
