This is my personal blog, heavy on the navel-gazing, where I can just be myself (i.e., a whiny bitch). I have a public persona too,. She's marginally more polite. I'm a writer/editor by vocation, though I'm currently working for The Man in Corporatelandia and it's a cross between Dilbert. And its meretricious (*g*) fanfic, as well as all things Doctor Who. As time goes by.

Not materially misleading/too vague to be actionable. Apr 25th, 2015 at 6:36 PM. I get the point of crowdfunding in the equity/investment sphere. I get Kickstarter projects that are going to end in a particular piece of art/media/whatever that funders may either appreciate or have an altruistic reason to want to exist in the world. But Im kind of perplexed by a lot of the projects I see retweeted or reblogged on social media. When did crowdfunding become about subsidizing basic living expenses?

Not materially misleading/too vague to be actionable. Apr 13th, 2015. There was nothing noticeably wrong with my old modem. But no, it had to be replaced because it wasn't up to their new speed. Except half the time the signal is now slow. I'm a captive audience and I hate it. 2 comments Leave a comment. Apr 15th, 2015 12:29 am (UTC). When we had Comcast, the speed was NEVER up to par, even when we paid extra for "more." I have a lot of issues with Verizon, but internet speed isn't one of them.
