Karen’s Hallelujah blog. Evidence of God’s clear mercy and grace in my life. About and Contact me. Not now God, I’m eating. February 27, 2010. My body is a temple. Ten months ago I would have never believed you if you had told me that I would be successful with weight loss. Further more I would have laughed if you had told me that this journey of losing weight would bring me closer to God. Less Karen = More God! 2 corinthians 10 :4-6. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowle...

Karen’s Hallelujah blog. Evidence of God’s clear mercy and grace in my life. About and Contact me. July 16, 2010. It has been a busy summer in Sharkey land. Between baseball, swimming, fireflies and fireworks, it has been hard to fit in anything else. After more than 8 years away from collegiate life, His grace has been more than apparent in my gradebook. He has also reminded me of Ecclesiastes 12:11-13 (English Standard Version). Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond: June 2010
http://strykerinvasion.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond. Wednesday, 23 June 2010. Day 4- Lake Garda. We spent our 4th day in Italy at Lake Garda. If you know my husband at all, you know that he is a lake man. So, we decided to spend the whole day touring the southern end of the lake. We started off our day in a town called Sirmione. Sirmione is located on a small peninsula at the southern end of the lake. When we crossed the drawbridge to enter the old town, we were greeted by Scagliera Castle. We left Sirmione and h...

Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond: Family Photo Shoot-Swap
http://strykerinvasion.blogspot.com/2011/07/family-photo-shoot-swap.html
Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond. Friday, 22 July 2011. I usually like to have our family picture taken for our annual Christmas card. But last year, I didn't know what to do, since my good friend (and amazing photographer) Christy, had moved back to the States. Well, when we were leaving our friends' wedding back in October, we drove right past the sweetest little walking bridge. I told Ethan as soon as I saw it that that is where we needed to have our family picture taken! 19 August 2011 at 1...

Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond: A Year of PWOC
http://strykerinvasion.blogspot.com/2011/09/year-of-pwoc.html
Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond. Friday, 2 September 2011. A Year of PWOC. One of the reasons that my blog did not stay up-to-date last year was because I served as the President for the PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) at our base. It was a lot of responsibility, but it was incredibly fulfilling (and I pray, that it was glorifying to God). We were given a fabulous theme for the year which was "Shine in the Light of His Glory.". Complete with a chuck-wagon to serve the meal from. I wrote ...

https://sachaopperman.wordpress.com/2014/07/20/shampoo-free
Asymp; Leave a comment. I officially ran out of my shampoo two days ago. I came across this blog. A while ago and had been wanting to try to go shampoo-free. I used just water to wash my hair today. The next time I am going to use the apple cider vinegar mix and baking soda mix. Here is a before photo with an off the shelf shampoo. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. We are going again! Asymp; Leave a comment. It is that time of year again! We are recruiting for our trip to Russia! I cannot believe what God has done this last year…six months. It feels like just yesterday we were talking to Pastor Dima about coming and here we are planning for the next year! We are planning to take 15 teens and adults with us to St. Petersburg to host an English Camp. Part of that planning is recruiting the 15 people to come! Do you want to serve God overseas? God’s got it…right? | Living a Dream

God’s got it…right? Asymp; Leave a comment. Do you ever have that desire to say something. But you don’t know what to say or how to say it? I know for a fact that I can fill an entire blog post about NOTHING! I am really good at writing longwinded nothing. This is why I am going to attempt to write SOMETHING! The past six months have been challenging ones. Phil has been out of work and I have been working my butt off! Honestly, I don’t have to be! Learning to believe: God’s got it. Larr; Previous post.

Last Hair Update | Living a Dream
https://sachaopperman.wordpress.com/2015/01/05/last-hair-update
Asymp; Leave a comment. I haven’t said much about the Baking Soda/Apple Cider wash that I’ve been using, because there hasn’t been much to say about it. Good news is I didn’t see much of a difference in my hair compared to when I used regular shampoo. Main difference was that I didn’t have to was my hair as often. Larr; Previous post. Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond: Christmas 2010
http://strykerinvasion.blogspot.com/2011/08/christmas-2010.html
Stryker Invasion: Our Time Across the Pond. Tuesday, 30 August 2011. We felt particularly blessed this past holiday season because we were able to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with family! Ethan's mother and brother spent a week with us over the Christmas holiday. But before they arrived, a few festivities already took place, including the children's annual school Christmas pageant. (How I will miss these after we move home! Both Tim and Maddie played the part of angels this year (how fitting!
