Sunday, February 26, 2012. This afternoon our boys had their annual piano recital. This is always a nerve-racking experience for me for some reason. They don’t get as nervous about it as I do thankfully! And they always do a great job. This year we had sort of a new experience. They have changed piano teacher and we weren’t sure what to expect. But it went very well and once again, I am very proud of them! And relieved that it is over. Great job Mrs. Kimbrough! So proud of my boys! Posted by Lisa Messner.

I've been busy getting stuff together and organized for our trip next week. It's so hard to believe that we're only a couple days away from COOLER weather, and an even bigger chance of Monsoon storms! Sunday, July 19, 2009. Ohh, the insanity! I never thought I would say this, but I'm. On the computer anymore!

I enjoyed reading my book during those games. :o). War monument for Iowa. Site of an unknown solider (Yankee) It was very moving to see all the different things people had placed on the grave. Stopping to read a note hanging in a tree, from another hiker. Jacob taking a rest beside a little stream. Spring time...

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Our boys also competed in the Alabama ACEA State Fine Arts Competition this year in March. Jorden and Taylor were up first with the Jr and Sr. High division. I asked the High School kids to do their pieces in our Elementary Chapel on Monday the week they competed. Jorden had the stomach virus that day so he got out of it. Taylor doing his piece-he competed in the Jr. High sacred piano category. Skyler competed in the classical piano category for High School. Taylor was so excited!

I don't want to wake up screaming in the middle of the night like an Aunt I have, screaming cause something brushed up against my leg! Bryan jokes that I can open my own yarn store . and I'm positive I can! I've been taking alchemy orders on my shop, and I've had to deny quite a few since I didnt have the yarn people were requesting. Well, not aymore!

The Coon Clan Chatterbox: June 2009
http://thecoonclanchatterbox.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 27, 2009. Alright, so I thought that I would share my yarn stash so far. Keep in mind, this is just what I have purchased Thursday and Friday in-store. Not. Counting the stuff from Joanns. Online. The "boucle" skeins each make a baby blanket, hat, booties, and sweater, with some left over, they're that large. I'm probably going to get two baby blankets and two hats out of each skein though . that way I can stretch them, and possibly make a set for my shop. It's like a surprise as I open it!
