Capturing What's There investigates the role of infrastructure in creating a foundation for democratic access to urban advantages and basic needs for Luanda's residents. With Viana as case study, the project addresses infrastructure as a spatial organiser framing the urban Angolan life and facilitating interactive civic spaces. Vallisaari Identity is a workshop held in Helsinki in September 2015, conducted together with Uusi Kaupunki. Collective. The main goal of the workshop was to reflect the role of the old military island Vallisaari as a part of the long shore line of Helsinki and define its future possibilities. In 2016, the magically beautiful island was opened up for the public for the first time in it's history, and is now one of the most popular recreational sites in Helsinki. Re-defining the identity of the island.
