Looking in, looking out. March 2, 2009. Ages ago when I used to be too much left-brainy to notice things, my best friend posted a picture of my ancestral home’s long corridor, looking into it with a stranger’s eyes. I was so much used to the place to notice the simple beauty of the view. Here’s my salute to your spirit my friend, in celebrating the beauty of the mundane. This shot is taken from the same place you stood that day admiring, but where you looked in, I am now looking out into the street.

A spear or a snake? This is how I see the world around me, like how the blind men saw the elephant. I didn’t have to think much about what my first post should be. I must jot down the memories of the most intense experience I had in the recent past – the Himalayan expedition. When we finally got down at the small pilgrim-town of Gangotri in the evening, the chill was piercing through the layers of cloths i had worn – two jackets, a sweater and a woolen shirt. It is the small temple of goddess G...We were...

But to my disappointment, it wasn’t that hi-tech.

Much water has flown under the bridge since the last post I made here, and much of my writing skills have flown along too, which is why I decided to start with plagiarising from Karram’s post. I think I mite have changed things too… the life in Bangalore, family and friends, the fun times seem an almost distant memory now. D would say “What life in Bangalore! How do you fit three cars and two bikes into 78 sqft of space, especially when the space is distributed in the topology of a ‘T’, with about 48 ft in the longer stroke and 30 in the shorter one? That 78sqft of space was until now as strangely Utopian maze of simple permutations and combinations. But alas! Paradise wasn’t to last for ever! Fact is, Murphy has spoken, and I have resigned to my fate! Filed under: Core Dump. 124; 1 Comment.
