The foundation was created by three sisters who moved from Northern Italy to Rome (something never done then) and they created amazing garments for some amazing women. I really liked the graphic design projects that were hanging up on the wall that followed, some of them were really witty. But I am totally in love with the marching, gum-ball carrying, polar bears! We had to do something autobiographical, so I recreated portraits of myself with old photographs of my grandmother and some scanned objects found in her house. The soldiers are scanned images, and they were all hand painted by my grandpa. There are literally hundreds of them in their house, and I always remember him by them. I never posted this! Monday, October 26, 2009. Here is a painting I did on photoshop. Exaggerated Current Event Project. This piece can be found in Dallas, Texas at the Connemarara Conservancy. It is made up of twenty-two units of high intensity reflective sheeting and powdered coated steel epoxy. The generated effect I think is quite whimsical. Monday, October 19, 2009. Recently I completed a duet for two instruments, A Dream of Spring.
