Life As I Know It. Things can often get hectic in a house filled with a husband, a wife, six boys, two girls and a dog. but it is never dull. Surround them all with love and laughter and at the end of the day you can go to bed knowing it is all good. I am happily married, mom to 8 though right now only 7 are living with us. I get to stay home and raise our children and in that, I have the best job I could ever hope for. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and other crafty things. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, July 16, 2008. The girls have been desperate for another pet since the "passing" of our hamster Buddy, so I broke down today and agreed to another pet hamster. We visited two different pet stores scoping out their stock and searching for the most friendly one we could find. She is much smaller than our old hamster, so we had to buy a new cage, running ball, and just about everything so she won't be able to escape (hopefully! Hopefully she'll be a nice, calm pet once she adjusts to her new home!

Sunday, June 29, 2008. Yesterday was my niece Olivia's 9th Birthday party. Happy Birthday, Olivia! The Birthday Girl and her beautiful cake! Amanda and Izzy with Grandma. Last Friday, the girls and I spent the afternoon with our great friends the Gillis family at the Princess Resort's swimming pool. We were dare-devils and snuck in, pretending to be guests for the day! The girls had a blast going down the water slides, while Randi and I enjoyed sitting by the pool watching them. Monday, August 11, 2008. First day of school. Today is the girls' first day back to school. Since they were up and dressed before 6 am (a little excited, perhaps? I had plenty of time to take their pictures and post this before we head off! Amanda is entering 3rd grade, and this is Isabella's first day of Kindergarten.
