Monday, December 26, 2011. De Laat Family Christmas 2011. Always some angst and trepidation when coming down the stairs! Click on it to see her face! Santa left a Filly Pferdchen Castle! And a pink scooter! Lots of toiletries and shaving supplies! Remember these fellow 70's / 80's girls? Family picture calendar for the office and 2012. As soon as we got the ballet outfit on. the princess dress got unwrapped. Papa loves puttin' pink stuff together! Luna and Papa have had sooooo much fun with this one.

Sunday, November 27, 2011. It was a "Pajama Pilgrim Party" today. While the turkey roasted Bas and Luna did a little craft activity. Portable internet instructions. :). Luna got to help with cutting. And on the actual holiday (a normal work day here, of course.) Luna did some special printable activities and got to hear all about the Thanksgiving story. Can't wait till it's chock full! On Sunday we went to see the Nuremberg Rams play an American football game on Zeppelin field. If this looks familiar, this may be why. Here's what happened the first time the Americans were here. On a local fly fishing forum under the "stories and reports" board I wrote of my buddy catching his first fish with a fly rod and gave a short report about the river conditions and how it was fishing. I think I wrote something like, "the Weber above Coalville." From Coalville upstream to Wanship the distance is approximately 8 miles, that's straight line distance! Friday, May 14, 2010. Probably a size #12 nymph hook with an oversized gold bead. One thing I learned from Tim in Montana was bead color. He tells me that late in the season when fish have been beat to death and seen every type of bug imaginable that the bead can spook fish. I will tie a dozen of these with black beads later tonight.
