Neighborhood Ministries: Christmas Prayer Letter
http://nmphx.blogspot.com/2005/12/christmas-prayer-letter.html
Tuesday, December 13, 2005. I’m not sure how to begin. The past two weeks have been remarkably terrible but never have any of us felt like we were without the presence of Jesus, bearing it all. For He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU," so that we confidently say,. THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID ". Then, as if we somehow. Were able to bear it, the day before my mom’s funeral, more bad news came. Our dear Katy’s cancer had come back. This time, th...Maybe...

The Cowells: January 2009
http://abcowell.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 05, 2009. Wow, this is late. Happy Birthday, Sophia and Josiah! Here are Sophia and Josiah admiring their cake. We didn't get good birthday close-ups as the camera battery died. What a joy these two have been! Both Sophia and Josiah have a lot of words, and are learning to use them. They have started putting two and more words together. They are definitely two, and we are feeling it more than we did with Eszter. They both get frustrated easily if they can't express themselves.

The Cowells: Eszter's New Birthday
http://abcowell.blogspot.com/2007/10/eszters-new-birthday.html
Saturday, October 06, 2007. October 6, 2007. The White’s Guest room, Idyllwild, California. Tonight I read about the crucifixion of Jesus as Eszter’s bedtime story. At the end, she asked ‘Why did they (Jewish leaders) do that? I asked her long Jesus was dead and she answered 3 days. Is he still dead; no. Where is he now; Heaven. I continued, as we had discussed many times before, that Jesus will come back to earth some day and take everyone who loves Him to Heaven with Him. 8216;So we get to go? We said ...

The Cowells: June 2008
http://abcowell.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2008. So, part of what Eszter and I do when Sophia and Josiah go down for naps is caring for our garden. It's not much, but it's fun. She helps plant and water, and, joy of joys, harvest. Today she pulled some carrots. She got to see what ladybug larvae look like, too! She's so excited that it will become a ladybug soon. Hmm. which came first, the mommie ladybug, the larvae, the egg? Poor Eszter has a lot to think about. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Okay, not really everywhere. She was payin...

The Cowells: We're still here...
http://abcowell.blogspot.com/2008/11/were-still-here.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Hey, just wanted to let you know we're here, we're reasonably well, I just keep waiting to post until I can find my bleepity camera. I'm guessing one of the kids put it somewhere, because I just found my keys after almost two weeks. In an old Brie cheese box. Normally, I'd blame that one on Eszter, as she's the Brie afficianado, but I think I'll have to lay the blame on Josiah, as he's obsessed with keys. Unless it's a conspiracy. Josh, Emily, and Kids. We miss you, too!
