http://stanthezoocow.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Stan the Philanthropist and Endurance Athlete. Since I've only existed for a short time, you'd think I would've led a pretty sheltered life. Not to toot my own horn or anything but, for only being 2 months and 11 days old, I've gotta say I've had some great life experiences already. You know how some people have a "list".you know, things they want to do before they die? Here are some pics of our adventure. Part of what makes the event great are the crew and "supporters" along th...

The Mize Muse: February 2014
http://mize6.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 16, 2014. When I grow up. Landry came and joined us in bed this morning before we all started the day. Shane and I were talking to her about how big she is getting. (She can reach the light switch now! She used to want to be a pop star when she grew up. Dad was asking her if that was still her dream. L: "No. I don't want to be a singer or a pop star. You have to write lots of songs, ride on a bus, and never come home.". D: "So, what do you want to do? L: "Just stay home and be a mom.".

The Mize Muse: First Day of School 2014
http://mize6.blogspot.com/2014/09/first-day-of-school-2014.html
Monday, September 1, 2014. First Day of School 2014. The dogs on the other hand have not been happy to not have us around all the time. When I get home, they are stuck to my hip. I was making dinner in the kitchen and they were just hanging out, watching. The weekend before school started Uncle Graham and Aunt Bekah also came down for some fun family time. The boys had the best time playing video games with Uncle Graham and going to see The Guardians of the Galaxy. Look at those grown up kids! Cant belie...

The Mize Muse: My Baby is 14!
http://mize6.blogspot.com/2015/01/my-baby-is-14.html
Saturday, January 24, 2015. My Baby is 14! I took an online quiz the other day and it said that I have the spirit of a 16 year old. Therefore, I cannot believe that I have a 14 year old daughter! Where has the time gone? I know that everyone always says that, but seriously? We are getting old.sob. Dad was gone for Gracie's special day, but as soon as he got home we did it up right! Ice cream cake anyone? Another reason that I love the Houston area - strawberries are ripe in January! Of course it's not a ...

Monday, October 6, 2014. The Home of the Brave. For a music teacher, the holiday season begins in September. All of my classes have been immersed in patriotic music for Veteran's Day since right after the first couple weeks of school. My choir has been working on our holiday musical for at least three weeks. The holidays are on the brain! We need to find the home of the brave.". You know. The 'Home of the Brave.' It has to be around here somewhere.". Well, that's the silliest thing that I have ever heard!

The Adventures of Stan the Lincoln Park Zoo Cow: November 2008
http://stanthezoocow.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 15, 2008. The morning after we got home from Mexico, I was greeted with this gorgeous sight as I was grazing in the backyard. It's Jen's Japanese Maple from Matt and, after 2 transplants and weathering pool construction on top of their bumbling attempts at gardening, it's a wonder it's still alive much less thriving! It was so pretty I just had to get in there and get my picture taken.hope you enjoy as much as I did. Bienvenido a Mooevo Vallarta! You wouldn't know it, but it's probably...

The Mize Muse: April 2015
http://mize6.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2015. Houston Art Car Parade 2015. The Houston parks department had an entry. This car had a calliope built into the back of the bed. Lots of unique paint designs. Some professional, some not. This car was COVERED in sea shells. EVERYTHING was covered in seashells including the steering wheel, insides of the doors, etc. Someone even decked out a plane. Many of the drivers dressed up for the big day. Some of the cars had props to enjoy. This one was covered in fruit. The Mize of Texas.
