Wednesday, April 7, 2010. The Case for Marriage Equality" - Sean Cahill. I do feel that we are getting closer to equality. For one the Senate Bill S7685 became law, which allowed same sex partners to be viewed as spouse therefore receiving full spousal benefits. Unfortunately this only applies to 9/11, but it is a step in the right direction. There is No Unmarked Woman" - Deborah Tannen. Overall I think she makes some good observations, but I feel that the topic is much more complex than what she lets on.
