http://charlesandlauricausey.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The Causey Adventure Series. Friday, September 23, 2011. The Army 10 miler is coming up October 9. Charles, Nick and I will all be running in that. I've been trying to squeeze my running in around doing math. Today I ran 9 miles (uphill both ways) in the pouring rain. We've plugged into Crossways Free Church in Manassas and the kids all enjoy the youth programs. Charles and I are joining a small group Bible Study and that also starts next week. Life keeps humming along. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://scottandbarbmn.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life As We Know It. Thursday, March 21, 2013. A sad, little desk and an ugly chair met in my workshop. Maggie named the desk "Rosalina." I named the chair "Phoebe.". They became fast friends. And decided to get a makeover together. Rosalina is a little more girly than Phoebe. She got new jewelry and a shiny glass top. Phoebe just sits there and makes a statement. Somehow, it just all works together. BFFs MFEO. (Best Friends Forever, Made For Each Other.) FOR SALE - CCS Auction, April 13. :). This was Lea...

Life As We Know It: The Evolution of a Room
http://scottandbarbmn.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-evolution-of-room.html
Life As We Know It. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. The Evolution of a Room. Anyway, he thought I was insane, because everything in my house was oak. So I caved. Take my advice. Don't cave. Hold your ground. This is how things looked many moons ago. We don't even have that furniture anymore. Anyway, I painted the walls AND the ceiling yellow. Emphasis on the YELL. It kind of smacked you in the face every time you walked in the room. And that room has extremely high vaulted ceilings. September 5, 2013 at 6:42 PM.

It was a wonderful vacation all around, and it also felt like another turning point as we returned home and began to feel a shift towards preparing for baby. (oh yeah, and we got iPhones! Then she was eve...

Lace Your Days With Hope. You have the right to remain silent. But I don't recommend it. Jan 14, 2011. Love Handles - Check. Still smoking my magic stick and sticking to the plan but it is HARD. For one thing, my tongue has blisters all over it from constantly sucking on hard candy. Butterscotch is my preference but I have never been picky when it comes to candy. So last night I stopped by the store to get a some garlic bread and lettuce. Lo and behold! Mine are. I was just starting to worry about gai...

Lace Your Days With Hope. You have the right to remain silent. But I don't recommend it. Aug 7, 2015. For My Babies, On Your 18th Birthday. Today my Babies turn 18. Wow. That went quick. If I had a dime for every time someone told me that when I was drowning in children, and up every hour of the night, I could afford car insurance for them. True story. I didn't believe it then, but I'm here to testify: it did. It did go fast. Photo by Patsy Holt. Concept also by Patsy Holt. Isn't she a genius? One of you ...

Lace Your Days With Hope. You have the right to remain silent. But I don't recommend it. May 11, 2015. I had a special present for Mother's Day this year, when The Beautiful Redhead called and said she was coming Friday night and spending the entire weekend. The Beautiful Redhead has grown up. My little girl has grown into a smart, capable, gorgeous woman. She comes from a long line of these. These fine ladies were cleaning up after and someone grabbed a camera and instead of making duck faces or sticking...

Lace Your Days With Hope. You have the right to remain silent. But I don't recommend it. Feb 24, 2011. Gang rape happens, even if not reported. I hate to bring everybody down today, but as you know, I can never keep my mouth shut. The following link is a story that has not seen much coverage. It is a difficult topic. But I'll be damned if I'm going to keep quiet about it. It is graphic and true. If you have a daughter, or are a daughter, read it. How are you feeling now? Did you know this? Fourth, this wo...
