Miranda Gabrielle: June 2011
http://mirandabrielle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Welcome to Miranda Gabrielle's Blog! Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I've been enjoying myself today, knitting during a loud, heavy thunderstorm and reading. Surprisingly. I can get more knitting than expected done while spending the morning reading news articles and blog updates. Click on the link, then knit while reading. Scroll down, knit some more. Until at least 8 hours from now. The current weather map did have a massive storm coming up to Tulsa with all sorts of pretty colors on the map. Hmm. In fact, I w...

Floating Moon Studio: Resurrection
http://allaboutthecolor.blogspot.com/2008/11/resurrection.html
Monday, November 17, 2008. This is where the huge growth spurts happen. in the often desperate "what if? Ideas that we think of, but might discard without trying, simply because we are so accustomed to a routine that has been working for years. Often, the routine is holding us back from becoming our best self, or producing our best work, in whatever field we are wanting to be creative in. I believe this holds true for all creative people, whether they are a musician, painter, or whatever.

Floating Moon Studio: July is nearly over already???
http://allaboutthecolor.blogspot.com/2008/07/july-is-nearly-over-already.html
Sunday, July 27, 2008. July is nearly over already? Wow, this month has flown by! I was very pleased with what I learned, though as is my nature in a workshop environment, I didn't produce a lot of "product" during class time. I came out with 3 pieces, all of which were illustrative of what I learned, though not all were as successful as I would have liked. I guess most of us can say that? I'll be back in a while, hopefully, to post pictures from the class. I haven't done much (okay, not really any!

Floating Moon Studio: Floating Moon, Indigo Sky
http://allaboutthecolor.blogspot.com/2007/10/floating-moon-indigo-sky.html
Friday, October 26, 2007. Floating Moon, Indigo Sky. There are LOTS of blogs on the internet that have worthwhile things to say. But then again, so many times, I find things I want to share with my friends, and so many of my friends are online! It seems to make more sense to create a blog, to just post my shares. the things that get my attention, get me thinking. AND, I'm hoping, a lot less time consuming than sending out a bunch of emails. So, good morning! There are memories there! Family is there, som...

SojournKnitting: Coopworth. Who knew?

Welcome to my knitting and spinning place where the two skills may someday meet. It's still new and exciting for me. Gotta share. Gotta show and tell. Sojournknitting- creating the delightful and practical throughout the seasons of life. Coopworth. Who knew? Part of my spring cleaning included a brief foray into the fiber stash for WIPs. There is the odd few sample ounces of this or the second of an intended two-ply which has languished, undisturbed for ages. Look at the cute locks! Whaaat have I done?

c r a f t s o n t o a s t: Longina Progress
http://craftsontoast.blogspot.com/2009/09/longina-progress.html
I knit, I sew and I ♥ everything DIY. A couple months ago, I was trying to figure out what to make to get back into the knitting game. I can safely say my Trina/Longoria (aka Longina) Cardi is coming out pretty swell and has followed all protocol to a T. Yes, it fits snugly into my knitting bag which fits snugly into my messenger bag along with my lunch box and my other crap. Yes, I love working something all in one piece on circs. Does it keep me interested? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

KnitPlosion: July 2007
http://knitplosion.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
A blog on knitting and one knitter's adventures. Book Comment – Yarn Harlot: The Secret Life of a Knitter. I have just finished reading 'Yarn Harlot' by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. On the knitting front, I also found that Stephanie provided logic behind certain techniques. For example, using her witty manner she gives reasons for why some patterns call for separate knitting of the button/collar band. I this found pertinent to my current knitting adventure – Sahara. Ps I did not call this a book review becaus...
