He said, Son, have you seen the world? Well what would you say, if I said that you could? The main purpose of my blog is to focus on the connections between soldiers and civilians. I will concentrate on soldiers deployed in various contries, soldiers back home dealing with realities of what they experienced while deployed, civilians on the homefront and civilians on the warfront. There are truly no limitations to this topic, but it is my hope to continually connect soldiers with civilians. He explains ho...

The Hardest Kind of Work. Most vehicles took almost 36 hours to wash! I remember one taking 3 days. In addition, a good chunk of each stryker had to be taken apart before any washing was to commence. That could take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours alone. By the end of week 1, motivation hit rock bottom. -Sour Swinger. All of this reading about strykers sent me on a search to find out what the vehicles actually looked like. I found this description as well as some photos that helped to ease my curiousity.

Monday, October 22, 2007. Zero Today . GD 40 Years Ago. Less Than Zero, baby! And that's the last time I will ever type booyah in any form whatsoever. In any case, brrrr f'in' cold this mornin'. Less Than Zero indeed. A momentary shock it was upon seeing. 2°F (-19°C). On the thermometer just outside my kitchen. Not a shock was the fact that I had to wake my dog up by knocking on the glass. Inspiration, Move Me Brightly...: "Everybody say primate"
http://musicneverstopped.blogspot.com/2008/10/everybody-say-primate.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2008. You ever wonder why the hell certain unwelcome people won't just go the darn heck away! Unhealthy obsessions really should come to an end. It's what's best for all involved parties. Ya know? 100 Days of the Dead. Day # whatever this is. My selection for today comes partially from me not being able to Upload in time the show that I had wanted to post today - a Ratdog show from 1997, which wouldn't have gotten much love, but I dig it. 5/5/67 - Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco.
