Family Relationships: February 2011
http://familyrelations.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. There is a quote that my teacher has quoted a couple times in class that has really stood out to me. I can't remember who said it first but I believe it was a psychologist or therapist. Love is the degree to which we are committed to somebody's spiritual growth and well being". I absolutely love this! Do we want the best for them? I would encourage everyone to evaluate their relationships and discover what kind of love those relationships are based on. And then remember to ...

Family Relationships: January 2011
http://familyrelations.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Three to Four Generations. Today in class we talked about genograms, which are a way to map out families and the relationships within families. Genograms allow us to recognize patterns that occur within the family and are usually intergenerational. Often genograms consist of three to four generations of a family. Why map out three or four generations of a family? So today I have found myself thinking about my family and the generations before, looking for patterns. We were a...

Divorce - Family Relations Blog

Ldquo;Seventy percent of divorcees think they made a mistake two years later.”. That statement practically shouts at me. That says to me that things could really…suck. And they could suck for a long time. I think the principal behind this is that things will get better. It will not always be roses and sunshine and butterflies. Sometimes you just have to wait it out and endure those hard time in order to get to the good ones. Please enjoy other Family Relations Blogs:. Create a free website.

Family Relationships: 3 Ps
http://familyrelations.blogspot.com/2011/02/3-ps.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. We talked about dating and courtship a couple weeks ago. And I know that a few from the class have already blogged about this but I found it really interesting. Often people look to the guy to initiate a date and can't remember which General Authority said this but he said that a date should have 3 Ps. It was a connection I'd never seen before! Does he respect you enough to not make you do anything you don't want or shouldn't be doing? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
