The Falahola Family: March 2013
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 10. A Picnic at Tahoe. This week, Tevita pointed out to me that although we've lived in Nevada for nearly a year, we have never been to Lake Tahoe. On Saturday morning, we packed some lunch in a cooler, bundled up, and headed out for a day trip to Tahoe. We were very glad that we finally took the time to visit such a beautiful area. Anyhow, she has been taking a real rock-climbing class for the past eight months or so. She loves it. It is fun and challenging. But she kept going. for almost an hour. and she climbed 35 laps! The wall is 35 feet high. So she climbed 1225 feet up. and 1225 feet down. continuously without a break. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Nicoll Family Blog: Chrysalis
http://nicollfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/chrysalis.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Caterpillars are amazing. They are eating machines. All day long. Instead of getting full, they grow bigger and more hungry. Their rolling movements are fascinating, like watching the Wave go around a stadium. We had so much fun observing the five caterpillars on our parsley plant. Alli especially enjoyed letting them crawl on her hand. Ruby liked pointing to them and smiling her toothy smile. We are counting down the days until the butterflies emerge. Black swallowtail ...

Saturday, September 1, 2007. We have a little herb garden on our patio. All of the herbs have done well this year, maybe a little too well. The gigantic bush of parsley has been taken over by five hungry caterpillars! They are munching away, depleting. Our supply of parsley by several leaves daily. Stay tuned for more exciting news about our caterpillar pets. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sure, I'll take your picture! Other blogs and fun sites. Mr SInger and the Sharp Cookies. Nicoll Family Blog: November 2014
http://nicollfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Every October, I look forward to the Halloween costume choices of my children. Because they choose awesome stuff. Alli chose Abraham Lincoln. Did you know she memorized the Gettysburg address (for fun! We used the glue gun to attach bushy eyebrows to her glasses. The beard was also attached to her glasses frames. And Ruby and June both wanted to be ninjas! Our blue-eyed brunette was Wonder Woman, of course. This is after the church party. Not very cooperative for pictures.

The Falahola Family: October 2013
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 14. The Birthday Boy and Our Week of Adventures. Tevita's birthday was on Saturday. We spent the day watching a family movie and shopping in Orland Park. We love going to Halloween stores to look at costumes and decorations. The celebration continued on Sunday. After church, we headed to the trails for a family walk. The leaves are just barely starting to change. Walking the trails made me remember how much I missed mid-west autumns! We'll see how much longer my sanity will hold. :).
