KNITALLICA: whoo boy
http://knitallica.blogspot.com/2009/02/whoo-boy.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Just finished the hat. Do I know what everyone is getting for Christmas or what? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Olympia, Washington, United States. Knitter, crafter, bike rider, over-enthusiastic Russian history student. I am completely technologically inept and would not be above knitting someone a pair of socks if they'd make this thing look less dumb. Just sayin'. View my complete profile.
KNITALLICA: Garden vegetables on your (tiny) feet
http://knitallica.blogspot.com/2009/02/garden-vegetables-on-your-tiny-feet.html
Monday, March 2, 2009. Garden vegetables on your (tiny) feet. I didn't much like it at first but it's grown on me, reminds me of garden colors - kale, squash, earth, pumpkins - so I'm going to knit it into a pair of toe-up anklets for my mom, who has both tiny feet and a fantastic green thumb. It is a fine thing for your primary sock-recipient have tiny feet. Thanks Mom! I'll even forgive you for making me short. March 3, 2009 at 6:09 AM. Small feet are awesome! March 4, 2009 at 9:34 AM.
KNITALLICA: Poshlost
http://knitallica.blogspot.com/2009/02/poshlost.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Speaking of the sweater that pilled a lot, I realized I hadn't posted it. Have you figured out that this blog is erratic at best and I am absolutely shameless about it? But I'm actually really stoked about this sweater. And also a little bitter. I finally knit a sweater that fits me absolutely perfectly, that I want to wear every day, and it pills to the extent that it is practically shameful to wear. Go figure. But it was entirely coincidence. I also made the World’s Big...
KNITALLICA: Kindness & Loyalty
http://knitallica.blogspot.com/2009/02/kindness-loyalty.html
Saturday, February 28, 2009. I knit these Hufflepuff socks up for my dear friend Sarah for Christmas. She is possibly the only person I know who is as obsessed with Harry Potter as I am, so these were a natural gift. Er, yeah, they were a little late. I was planning on using this. Pattern, but the intarsia in the round was fiddly and bothersome and I had forgotten just how much I hate. Duplicate stitch. It gives me hives. So they're just plain, but I think she gets the point. Reminds me of bumble bees.
KNITALLICA: Hear ye
http://knitallica.blogspot.com/2009/02/hear-ye.html
Saturday, February 14, 2009. Happy Valentine's Day y'all. I'm not normally the type to point that out to you, since I'm usually firmly in the bitter anti-Valentine's Day camp, but strangely, this year I am not full of spite. Maybe this is a sign of personal growth? So here, to further inflame the passions of the anti-Valentine's Day party, is my personal contribution to the world of vaguely artsy Valentine's Day blog photos. Is this at all surprising? Tiny Quilt! | old ball and skein
https://oldballandskein.wordpress.com/2008/07/28/tiny-quilt
Old ball and skein. Old ball and skein. The Random Number Generator Has Spoken…. Here’s my finished quilt and a blurry picture of my living room. I used seven different fabrics (from Fabric Place [rip], the old Joann, Purl Patchwork, and Valley Fabrics) and the binding is an extension of the backing. I’m calling it Woodland Quilt because of the forest-y fabrics I chose. I love this thing! There are still three days left in the OBS Anniversary contest! Good luck to everyone playing! rebel knitter: working class
http://rebelknitter.blogspot.com/2007/12/working-class.html
Knitting the seeds of rebellion. Sunday, December 02, 2007. To work. Its been such a long time that I was almost kinda craving the responsibility and schedule. I really didn't want to just accept any old job but I was afraid that on such short notice I would end up taking some terrible holiday retail job selling clothes in the mall for some corporate owned chain store. Hell on earth. I started checking craigslist. I have retail experience! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
rebel knitter: progress
http://rebelknitter.blogspot.com/2008/01/progress.html
Knitting the seeds of rebellion. Sunday, January 13, 2008. Next up is a pair of socks that I started for my good friend Brian. The yarn is Opal Aktion in a brown and green colorway that is supposed to make a nice fair isle design, but I don't think that the ribbed leg that I haved decided on is going to show it well. Finally a hat in some of the most beautiful (and expensive! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go enjoy some sunshine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

KNITALLICA
Thursday, March 12, 2009. Hold onto your hats. This might be a long one. But I hate taking pictures. Hate it. I don't think I'm a bad. Photographer, I've gotten the occasional compliment, but I am definitely a reluctant one. I love photographs, but I'm always the one bringing my camera to places, taking two pictures and then trying to foist it off onto someone else. So convincing myself to go out and take pictures for the blog has always been a challenge for me. On the other hand, it is spectacularly awf...

Knit All The Things Designs
0 items - $0.00. Knit All the Things. Celtic Forest Sock Pattern. Beautiful panels of celtic braids bordered by elegantly defined twists give these socks a Highland feel. Cables are worked entirely using twist stitches, so no cable needle is necessary! Free Pattern: Lavender Breeze Socks. The central lace pattern falls in a wavy flow down the sock, reminding me of lavender waving in the breeze. Purl rows between eyelet lace columns at the sides of this sock give it nice stretch for a comfortable fit.
