Sunday, November 25, 2007. I dearly, dearly, love Petit Lemans. Held the first weekend in October at Road Atlanta, the American Lemans series graces the Georgia hills with the sounds of their high speed machinery. This was the 10th year for the event, and the 7th consecutive time I have been to it. Not only do the American Lemans guys run there but also the Speedvision World Challenge Series and the Porsche GT3 cup, along with other smaller events. Team Penske Porsche Spyder. Race winning Audi R10 TDI.

Sunday, July 12, 2009. July 2009 A look back at Petit Lemans 2008. Audi R10 in Turn 5. I love Petit Lemans. For me its just like being in heaven for 3 days. I take off work, and drive down early just to catch practice on thursday, especially night practice. Friday has support races like the Speedvision series and ALMS qualifying, and Saturday is the big dance - 10 hours or 1,000 miles. Field approaching Turn 10 in the 9th hour.
