Our path to ministry at Ft. Lewis,WA
Kohl Family: February 2009
http://kohlfamilylife.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Our path to ministry at Ft. Lewis,WA. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Well it has been too long since I wrote and for that I apologize. Our house has been on the market for about 10 days. We have had 5 or 6 showings and one offer. The offer was too low and since we not fully ready to move out, it seemed best to reject the offer. Have you ever noticed that just about the time you really get your house just the way you want it, it is time to sell! Mark and Carol in Cadence. Labels: Selling our home.

Our path to ministry at Ft. Lewis,WA. Thursday, November 27, 2008. Wanting to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Day. We are thanking God for so many family blessings. Next years will be very different for us for by that time we expect to be celebrating Thanksgiving with the troops at Ft. Lewis. For now I send to you a Thanksgiving prayer that was sent to us. Take time to watch it - it will remind you of so many reasons to give thanks. Http:/ www.cpmsglife.org/tg/td1.html. Mark and Carol in Cadence.
Kohl Family: October 2008
http://kohlfamilylife.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Our path to ministry at Ft. Lewis,WA. Saturday, October 25, 2008. In a few hours, Brian and I will be taking our last road trip together - at least for the next few years. Brian has joined the Army and will leave for basic just after the first of the year. He has always wanted to see the Grand Canyon so here we come! I am looking forward to these days with Brian. He is fun to be with - a good guy. But more than that, he is a young man whom I am very proud to call - my son! Mark and Carol in Cadence.

Our path to ministry at Ft. Lewis,WA. Monday, September 22, 2008. Camping, Friendships and Great Memories. It really was a well done museum - worth the time to stop and see it - should you be passin' through! Images such at these are calling us back to our early years of ministry. We look forward to sharing our lives as we share the gospel with the military members and their families at Ft. Lewis. We pray this will be soon! Mark and Carol in Cadence. Friday, August 29, 2008. Lets start at the begining. One of the fun things about starting a whole new youth program/youth group is the dreaming part. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Two months down, and many more to go. On the ...

Dave & Andrea's Life in Okinawa: January 2008
http://ministry2teens.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2008. Back in the game. This afternoon I went to Quest (MS youth group) for the first time since my trip to Germany. My heart quickened seeing the students and catching up with them. We played charades and watched a video about culture and standing out in it. Afterwards just like every week we went to the food court for dinner. It was fun to hear about their Christmas vacations and their first few weeks back at school. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Back home in Japan. We just got married ...
Dave & Andrea's Life in Okinawa: July 2008
http://ministry2teens.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. About a week ago, Dave and I met with two Chaplains on Courtney Marine Base. Courtney is about a 40 minute drive with traffic from Foster. The chaplains were so encouraging about us coming. They shared how the families out on Courtney often feel left out of the loop in a very Foster Center world (Foster is the largest Marine base on island). Will you pray with us for these students on Courtney? Will you pray for God given divine appointments with students and families? For those...

Dave & Andrea's Life in Okinawa: April 2008
http://ministry2teens.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 17, 2008. Today my roommate left. That's right for the past two weeks I had a roommate, Heather. Heather, is a future year long intern with Malachi. Because she had never seen Malachi up close or even been on a military base, Malachi decided to give her a bit of a "taste and see" trip. She flew in two days before shore break and flew out today. She really did a great job of jumping right into life here. I am praying she will get sent here next year and not Germany. =). This morning, at 08...

Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Camping on a beach. So last weekend, David, Chris, Chandler (a HS student david's mentoring) and I went camping. It was raining the few days before we left and all day on Friday. We talked about not going but felt like we should give it a try anyways. We piled into our Surf and drove to the northern tip of the island. It rained the entire drive! Stopped. Although very winding we set up our tents and enjoyed the full moon. Enjoy some of our shots. Sunday, October 12, 2008. So we...
