When I went to pick her up to bring her to our house, she had a laundry basket full of denim strips from the jeans and a variety of backings and batting. Monday, February 24, 2014. Worth Waiting For - Part 2 - Lucy Rebecca. We spent the week preparing freezer meals, catching up on laundry and other similar activities. We read with grandchildren and helped with special school projects. At last, our wake up call came at 4:30 AM as they decided to go to the hospital after a couple of hours of serious contractions. Saturday, June 20, 2015. On the way home from a recent trip we spotted a little sign pointing to a place called Cove Fort. Between a love for historic sites and a desire to get out of the car for a while, we stopped to see what was there. We were surprised at how nicely it had been restored and were given a tour. The living quarters of the folks who lived in and ran the fort were on one side of the inside walls of the structure. This amazing bed can be turned upside down and used for a bench! Work on a '...

Sunday, March 30, 2014. Genevieve did a wonderful job and did not cry a bit. Her Daddy gave her a beautiful blessing while coping with the necessary crutches due to his broken leg. Saturday, June 20, 2015. It is always fun to take a trip back to a slower paced time when we volunteer at the pioneer site at the American West Heritage Center. Life is still busy, but in a different way than modern times. Work on a 'new' old cabin has begun. This cabin was recently found within the walls of a home that was being remodeled or torn down for some reason. It is more than a hundred years old. We hope when renovations of the cabin are complete, it will give us a bit more space! Picture Window...

Our trip across Wyoming was pleasant and uneventful. They are difficult to see in the picture but they are lined up on the side of the road from the on ramp for maybe half a mile.
