長い長いさらに長い橋を渡って、ついにやってきましたのは Key West! 160; アメリカの最南端！ これでアメリカの右下と左上（ワシントン州）を制覇！ なんと言ってもカリブ海。海の青さが違う。真上を見よう。紫がかった紺の真っ青の空。そのまままっすぐに目をおろしていくと、空が白く消えて行く。さらに下へ目をおろすと白から今度は緑がかった青い海が広がる。こんなに開放感あふれる、ボーダーレスな情景を見るのは久しぶり。キャンバスに描かれた絵の中にいるような気がしてくる。 クリスマスシーズンに訪れたのだが、ここは真夏。Tシャツにサンダルで十分だ。麦わら帽子にアロハシャツ、半ズボンに素足でスリッポンを履いているおしゃれな紳士の姿も見受けられる。バミューダ風でかっこいい。湿度もかなり高く海辺の潮も合重なってぺたぺたする。フロリダだ。 Links to this post. Griffith Park Hollywood Signがちょっと近くなる。夜景を見るならココ. Griffith Parkはロサンゼルス市の北に位置する丘にある公園。ロサンゼルスで道に迷ったら、まずハリウッドサインを探して北がどちらになるかを確認するとよい。ロサンゼルスのストリートは東西南北に延びているので、道に迷ってもとりあえずなんとかなる。 話がそれたが、グリフィス・パークの丘の上に展望台があり、そこから見るロサンゼルスの夜景は素晴らしい！ ロサンゼルスは平地で高い建物があまりないので、街の明かりがずっとずっと先まで続く。その先の海が見えるぐらい平らである。丘の右手にはハリウッドサインがあり、左手にはダウンタウンが見える。 Http:/ www.griffithobs.org/.
