A screenwriters journey…. Update: Unrivaled, formerly Duran. Oct 09, 2009 by admin in Screenwriting. I was able to watch a rough cut of the first 25 minute of Unrivaled. Formerly Duran: King of the Cage) and, to my shock, I was pleasantly surprised. I would have preferred to work on the script myself (The script went into production after 1 draft), but the director, Warren P. Sonoda. What did the director re-write? I’m excited to see the rest of the film and hope it holds up throughout the story...

Saturday, April 19, 2008. That sure packs a wallop! Hey, all. Here's a quick two shots illustrating Eclipse's energy blast in "The League.". Kyle may not like me posting this, so take a look before it gets pulled. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. What the hell happened? I seriously haven't written anything here since January? Now that I've said that, I suppose I should give an update or something. Unfortunately, it's 1am and I've got to get to bed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kyle Higgins - Filmmaker.

Taken by Supreeze: 30 Days of Night
http://greyraven75.blogspot.com/2007/10/30-days-of-night.html
Friday, October 19, 2007. 30 Days of Night. Not having read the graphic novel, my only expectations going in to this were trailers and several postings on the Internet claiming that this is "the best vampire movie in a decade." Based on that statement and the fact that the concept seemed really cool, I was looking forward to this a fair amount. As a lead into what follows, I'll say that I both enjoyed the movie and was somewhat disappointed. Lost? For those of you who may not know,. 30 Days of Night.

http://greyraven75.blogspot.com/2007/10/i-cant-fall-asleep-at-night.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2007. To Write or Not to Write. I can't fall asleep at night. Why? Well, that's because it's the only time I can seem to come up with good ideas for the script I'm working on. Hell, they might not even be good ideas, but at least I'm getting ideas some time, right? Keep a journal next to your bed and jot things down. If you wake up Kyle, so be it. Sunday, January 13, 2008. Been awhile since I've posted; sorry for that. Seen a number of movies lately so I thought I'd share my thoughts. 2 ½ stars out of 5. There Will Be Blood. Awesome performances by Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano make this a dark and stirring drama about the greed and power two men display over oil and money and the utter loathing they have for one another. 4 stars out of 5. If you liked Little Miss Sunshine then you’ll probably like Juno. 4 stars out of 5. Kyle Higgins - Filmmaker.
