Don’t Call it a Comeback. August 17, 2012. Keep going forward.You shouldn’t be here right now….Fight like Hell…. They ran through my head as i trekked the 84 miles towards Cape Cod, often times during moments when i had to call on something extra to grind up a hill as the sun was drilling me in equal parts. This was my fuck you to cancer, this was my day to finally punch back. People think survivors are a little too passionate about this stuff……i hope you dont ever have to understand why. How was LAC born? February 7, 2014. February 7, 2014. In 2011, Tom Finn and I both participated in our 3rd PMC. Tom’s grandmother had recently passed and his mother was in remission from her battle with breast cancer. My mother, as well, was waging a difficult battle of her own. In the months prior to the ride her condition had worsened and she was physically unable to walk on her own or do many of the things most dear to her. We are Lancers Against Cancer!
